Industry and Energy with UAV / RPAS

RPAS or DRONES technology facilitates the approach to difficult access areas and allows close inspections of all kind of installations (roofs and covers, piping and drainage systems, components, aerial cables, chimneys,…) reducing costs, time and working risks in a great way, and avoiding the need for costly “technical stops” of traditional inspections.

 

For this kind of works, apart from photography and aerial video in HD, thermography is also of great interest, as it allows the detection of any type of gas or liquid leaks through temperature differences, facilitating the quick inspection of pipes and lines.

 

 For the energy industries it´s specially useful in the aerial inspection of air generators, photovoltaic /thermosolar plants and overhead power cables. It allows a quick and effective detection of defective elements, evaluation of the corrosion degree or any other possible causes of malfunctioning.

 

The use of RPAS or DRONES is also effective in the evaluation of the energetic efficiency of buildings, as the integrate the most advanced and precise technologies to detect humidity and/or failures in thermal insulations, helping to achieve important cost reductions related to the energy consumption of the building or facility.
